Eli is getting so big! Today he is eight weeks old, which is so crazy to believe. He just gets cuter every day. He is rolling over like crazy. It is pretty fun to see. Today he was awake a lot more during the day. I am hopeful this means that he will sleep more tonight! The last few nights he has been waking up every 2 hours or so to eat. It's been a bit exhausting for me, but I think he may be going through a growth spurt. He is definitely growing fast. He is already 10 1/2 pounds!
I love this look Eli is giving me. He already has such personality.

Max and His Friend Taylor
This week Leah started working with us again. Max is so happy to have Leah and Taylor back to play with. He really loves Leah and absolutely loves playing with Taylor. The Kindergym class they were taking ended, so I signed them up for a Kindermusic class, which they now have every Wednesday. Today was their second class. It seems like both Max and Taylor really enjoy it! Basically, Kindermusic is about an hour of singing, dancing and using props while singing and dancing around. Max loves music and dancing, so this is perfect for him.
Leah is now watching the kids at our house, which has been nice. Below are a few pictures of Max and Taylor together going for a walk and taking a bath. The Radio Flyer wagon the kids are in was Max's first birthday present from my parents. I found the great sun shade at Target and added that. Max LOVES this wagon. The other day Rob wanted to take Max for a walk and tried to put him in one of our strollers. Max threw a fit, wouldn't get in and ran to the wagon instead. Rob ended up taking him for a walk in the wagon. :-)

Eli Rolling Over and Other Random Pics
Below are a few more photos from the last few days. Eli is getting so big and is now rolling over like crazy. When we did tummy time the other day he just kept rolling and rolling. It's hard to believe he is over seven weeks old. Even harder to believe that I will be going back to work in less than 10-weeks!! So sad.
My sweet-faced little guy (on my white legs. . . time to get a tan!).
My handsome big guy in the sun hat I constantly force him to wear.
Tummy time! Eli rolled over five times in a row, then got tired and was over it.
Rolling over!
Max was very proud of his little brother! :-) We are still working on the concept of "gentle," although Max does a very good job overall with his little brother. We are very lucky!

Photos of the Kids and Their Florida Grandparents
Below are a few photos of the kids with their Florida grandparents, who left yesterday to go back home. Today was my first day alone with the kids after having help for nine days. . . . come back Florida grandparents!! :-) Max missed having the extra attention and was a little sad today. And its been so blazing-hot the last few days that I don't want to take him outside much in the afternoon. The poor guy was going a little stir-crazy today. I was just going crazy. :-) But overall it was a nice day. Max is growing up so quickly and learning new things every day, I need to soak up every moment. He is saying a lot of new words and now says "up" when he wants us to pick him up. We are now working on "please."
This is right before the grandparents left for the airport. Max was a little upset and tired. :-(
Eli was happy and cute though!

Our Day at the Oakland Zoo
I've taken a bunch of photos over the last few weeks, but have not been doing a very good job of posting them! Below are some photos from a trip to the Oakland Zoo we took with Sarah, Karen, Leah and all the kids a few weeks ago. It was a great time and Max loved looking at all the animals. Eli slept the whole time. :-)
We have seven kids between the four of us! Quite the little army. It's very nice having friends with kids around the same age.
Max and I in front of the giraffes. Max really liked the giraffes. Good thing too! His grandparents brought out from Florida a giraffe tent that is now pitched in our living room.
Not a real turtle, obviously, but Max still had fun sitting on it!
Max climbing the fence to check out the animals. It was appropriate that we were at the zoo, since Max is a little monkey!

Our Busy, Fun Week
Rob's parents left today after a nice 9-day visit. It was great having them out here to see Max and meet Eli. Max and Eli had a great time with them, and Rob and I were sure happy to have some extra help around the house!! :-) Rob's parents were very sweet and offered to babysit a few nights so that Rob and I could go out to dinner or drinks alone. It was an awesome treat - and something we haven't had the opportunity to do in ages. My birthday was a few days ago, and it was so nice for Rob and I to be able to go out to dinner alone. Rob took me to Bing Crosby's for dinner. I had never been there before and really enjoyed it!
Overall, this week was a lot of fun, and we did a lot of fun activities with the kids. Max had his kindergym class, we went to Habitot, I took Max to Studio Grow and Max started his music class today. Rob's dad took a lot of great pictures of the kids while he was out here. Below are just a few.
Playing at the park after Max's Kindergym class.
Max has been a lot more interested in books lately! It is so nice to get to read with him. This book is one of his favorites because it has pictures of animals in it. He knows that a dog says "ruff, ruff," and while he doesn't exactly say the word "dog," he is trying. Right now Max calls a dog a "kkkkkk." A few months ago Max's nanny was babysitting a little dog that made this K=hissing sound all the time. Max started making the same K sound to mean the dog, and now he says that everytime he sees a dog. It's pretty funny.
Eli has been giving lots of smiles lately! It is pretty cute! I can't believe he is already 7-weeks old. Time flies.
I am sure Eli will be completely embarrassed by this photo later on in life, but I think it is too cute!!
My big boy has the cutest smile! I like this photo because he looks so mischievous - this is a look I see a lot lately!

Link To The Photo Gallery From Our Professional Newborn Pics!
We had some great family pictures taken by Anna Myers Photography a few weeks ago. Anna does great work. She took our family photos after Max was born as well and we loved them. She did an equally great job with Eli. I was particularly impressed with the images she captured considering Max was all over the place! We have an online photo gallery of the pictures for 30 days. To take a look, go to www.annamyersphotography.com, click on "proofing" and enter the password eliwoelfel -all one word and lowercase. I hope you enjoy the pics!

Eli During Tummy Time!
Below are some pictures of Eli during tummy time. He is doing a good job of getting his head up, and on Sunday rolled over for the first time! I think it may have been an accident, but I was still very proud. :-) The white outfit Eli is wearing was given to us by Rob's grandma. She told us that she bought it for Rob when he was born and that Rob wore it home from the hospital. The outfit sure looks cute on Eli!
My big boy! Eli actually really likes being on his stomach. The last few days he has fallen asleep on his belly after doing some tummy time.
Is this the cutest face or what? :-)

Another Nice Day
Today was a nice day. Max, Eli and I went to Alameda to hang out with my friends Sarah and Karen and their kids. The kids all played at Karen's for a bit, then we took them all to the park, and then out to lunch. Having lunch out went surprisingly well considering we had three toddlers and three infants with us. I actually managed to get through my meal (for the most part) before Max started to get too restless. I only took two pictures today, but I am posting some pics I took of the boys in these cute Janie and Jack outfits I bought them. I bought them coordinating outfits so that I could get photos taken of them together for a Father's Day gift. I know that Rob never looks at this blog, which is the only reason I just wrote that!! He doesn't know (yet) what he is getting for Father's Day.

Max at Kindergym Class
Below are a few pictures of Max playing at his Kindergym class. He loves this class and goes every Monday morning. These are pics from last week's class. Today Rob went with him to the class while I went to look at look at our proofs from our photo shoot with Anna Myers. The newborn pictures Anna took of Eli are SO CUTE! The photos from the newborn session will be posted online for 30 days soon, and as soon as I get that information sent to me I will be sure to post the link.
Weekend at the Little Farm
This weekend, Rob and I took the boys to the Little Farm and the Steam Train in Tilden Park. Max had a great time feeding the animals. Eli slept the whole time. :-) Tilden Park is such a beautiful place and I love getting outside with Rob and the boys. Below are some pictures from our outing.
This picture cracks me up! The tongue on this cow is so huge and Max looks so shocked. The cow really wanted Max's celery!
Max loved feeding these goats. He would feed them a piece of celery then look and me and say "Mama" so that I would give him another one. We polished off our bundle of celery super quickly. Next time I am taking two bunches!
Since I am always the team photographer, it is rare that I am ever in a shot!
